GROW IOWA FOUNDATION SINGLE FAMILY DEVELOPMENT
Grow Iowa started its single-family development pilot project in 2003 in Denison (Crawford County) because of the community's need for new housing construction due to the recruitment and expansion of several local industries.
Through partnerships with the city of Denison, local contractors and realtors; Grow Iowa has developed four affordable, speculative houses in a new housing sub-division located near the community's high school. Two of these houses have been purchased by first-time homebuyers. There are now nine houses completed or under construction within this sub-division.
